Trigger
An attack / hold / decay / sustain / release envelope fired when the input crosses a threshold.
The Trigger node turns a crossing into a shaped envelope. Each time the input passes Threshold, the envelope runs.

- Attack, Hold, Decay, Sustain, Release times with shapes
- A manual Trigger button
- Found in the node graph under Modifiers → Value & Math
The image on the right is the example patch itself. Drag and drop it onto the app, or load it with File → Load, to open the full graph. The modifier drives the Scale of a Hexagonal generator; the meter on the node shows its live value.
Inputs and outputs

| Port | Type | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Input | Modifier | The value to process, 0–1 unless the source says otherwise. |
| Modifier | Modifier | Drag it onto a parameter row, or wire it into another modifier's input. |
Parameters
- Threshold (default 0.5), Trigger (fires it by hand).
- Attack Time (default 0.05) and Attack Shape, Hold Time (default 0), Decay Time (default 0.1) and Decay Shape, Sustain Level (default 0.5), Release Time (default 0.3) and Release Shape.
- Amplitude (0–1, default 1).
Every slider has a per-parameter animation bar and can itself be driven by another modifier.
Examples
Kick hit — a Sound modifier on Bass in, Attack Time 0.01, Decay Time 0.3, Sustain Level 0.
Troubleshooting
The parameter does not move — check the bound parameter's Operation at the port. At Multiply against a value of 0 the result stays 0.
It fires all the time — the input sits above Threshold. Raise it.
